Panther Awning (Modulbox 400)

The Panther Modulbox 400 folding arm awning is a half cassette awning that offers the largest width dimension of any single awning we supply and fit. It’s also the strongest patio awning of its type manufactured in the UK.

Available at a maximum width of 12 metres and with a projection of 1.5 to 4 metres, the Panther awning is perfect to provide shade from the sun and shelter over a large area, whether it be for a commercial or residential property. The pitch range can also be adjusted between 15 and 45 degrees.

The Panther awning’s superior strength and durability makes it suitable for large commercial projects, such as schools, restaurants and hotels, as well as home domestic use for large properties and residential care homes.

Designed using an aluminium framework with a Monobloc articulated arm system, the Panther awning is built to withstand 75,000 arm movements, and can handle wind speeds of up to 48km/h.

A winder is provided so that the awning can be manually extended and retracted. However, many of our customers opt for an electric switch or remote control system so they can operate their awning with just the press of a button.

Panther Folding-Arm Retractable Awnings

As a half cassette awning, the Panther Modulbox 400 is semi-protected from the elements when retracted back into its system, keeping the fabric clean from debris and dirt whilst stored away. The arms and supports are also protected by the awning’s top profile and side covers.

The round shape of the front profile of the Panther Modulbox awning has many benefits. Not only does it provides a clean, contemporary aesthetic but it is also designed to expel water.

The Panther awning is available in a range of patterned and solid colour fabrics to suit your tastes, and can even be printed with your logo, details or artwork should you wish to use the awning for your commercial business.

Optional Extras

The Sombrex variable valance is also available as an optional extra which can provide greater sun protection when the sun is low in the sky.

Will you be using the awning at night? By incorporating the Onyx Lux arm models, LED lighting can be integrated so that your covered patio area can be illuminated once night falls. Using the dimmer functionality, you can adjust the light emitted from the LEDs. With no cables visible at the elbow of the Onyx Lux arms, the Panther awning remains stylish and sleek in appearance, whilst offering 24 hour usage thanks to the integrated lighting. LEDs can also be integrated into the front profile of the awning.
